Julie craft van de weghe, phd principal investigator

After receiving a B.S. & Ph.D. from the Dept of Cellular Biology at the University of Georgia, Dr. Van De Weghe completed her postdoctoral training with Dan Doherty, M.D./Ph.D. in the Dept of Pediatrics at the University of Washington. Dr. Van De Weghe joined the Dept of Cell Biology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2022 where she continues to investigate cellular pathophysiology underlying ciliopathy conditions.

Justyna szymczak, ms, phd postdoctoral fellow

Justyna is a postdoctoral fellow and the lab manager. She completed her Ph.D. in the Molecular Microbiology Department at the University of Wroclaw in Poland. Her Ph.D. project was focused on ParB segregation protein interactions during segrosome assembly in Streptomyces coelicolor bacteria. In her private life, Justyna loves dogs, sports, and music.

rose johnson, bs graduate student

Rose is a Ph.D. student joining the lab from the GPiBS program. In May 2022, she graduated with a B.A. in biology from Hendrix College. Outside of lab, Rose enjoys cats, music, and shenanigans.
